Decorate your end-of-school-year gifts with these fun summer-themed tags. You can pair these tags with a small, inexpensive gift, such as a sweet treat, play dough, or sidewalk chalk.
The tags feature the text “I hope you have a great summer” and a sun. Each tag has a colorful border: green, blue, or yellow.
Simply download and print the template, cut out the tags, and attach them to your gifts.

Supplies Needed
You will need the following supplies:
- Summer gift tags (download link is available at the bottom of the post).
- Printer (print at home or at your local print shop).
- Cardstock.
- Scissors or a 2″ circle punch.
- Hole punch.
- Ribbon, string, or baker’s twine.
Instructions
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Print out the template on white cardstock.
Step 2: Cut out the tags with a pair of scissors or a 2″ circle punch.
Step 3: Punch a hole at the top using a hole punch. You can also use a decorative clip or clothespin to attach the gift tag.
Step 4: String a ribbon or a baker’s twine through the hole and attach the tag to your gift! You can also add a personalized message on the back of the tag.

Download the PDF file and print it at home or at your local print shop.
Print on standard 8.5″×11″ paper (US Letter). To print on A4 paper, select “Fit to page” in your printer settings.
Each tag measures 2×2″ (5x5cm). There are 12 tags per page. Print as many copies as you need. Enjoy!
